Some of her best known songs include Shame", and the groundbreaking use of synthesizers on the songs: "I'm in Love" and "Love Come Down."
Born in the Bronx and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, King was discovered while working as an office cleaner at "Philadelphia International Records."
