Biografie van Yor123 & Skandaali
The hiphop multi talent YOR123 was born in East Germany, but besides Germany he lived in China for a year and in Syria for 2 before moving to Finland. His interest in the Hip Hop scene started in 1996 and short after that he started to get active as a graffiti writer. Later he concentrated more on music production, rapping in feature songs and event organizing. In 1999 he moved to Finland to finish his high school abroad instead of Germany.The hiphop multi talent YOR123 was born in East Germany, but besides Germany he lived in China for a year and in Syria for 2 before moving to Finland. Later he concentrated more on music production, rapping in feature songs and event organizing. In 1999 he moved to Finland to finish his high school abroad instead of Germany. Today he is one of the most influential characters in the Finnish hiphop music industry. As the founder and leader of Scandinavia's biggest hip hop organization ROCKIN DA NORTH, he has organized, together with a circle of friends, Finland's biggest hip hop events as well as many smaller clubs to bring up Finnish hip hop artists. In year 2000 he won the "Vuoden Kulttuuriteko" (cultural price of the year) for organizing the big Kiasma(museum of contemporary art) Summer Jam. So far he put together two very successful Rockin Da North albums ("RDN Allstars" of 2002 and "Star Warz", released in September 2003) and started his own record label and production company Kingsize He is also responsible for the debut album of Finland’s most known hiphop group “Royal Family”, the hiphop sampler series “Suomihiphoppia” as well as for numerous other albums and site projects such as an own clothing line. In spring 2004 he produced together with MTV3 and Warner music an own TV show for his group ROYAL FAMILY which was broadcasted in episodes for 20hours on national and digital TV. A lot of his time also went into Finland’s most sold hip hop artist PIKKU G(4x platinum) as being his executive producer and manager.
