Louisa Johanna Theodora (Wieteke) van Dort is a Dutch actress, comedienne, singer, writer and artist of Indo (Eurasian) descent. On 29 April 1999, Queen Beatrix appointed her Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau. Wieteke Van Dort was born (14 May 1943) in Surabaya, Java, Indonesia in what was then the Dutch East Indies during the Japanese occupation. While there, she attended two primary schools, and began attending the HBS.
