Sharon Z. (Sharon Zaal)

Johanna Petronella Maria Sharon Zaal, born on the 25 may 1981 in The Netherlands.
She grew up in a small town in the south called Nieuwveen, were she lived with her parents.
After graduating from her study Social Work, she travelled around the world discovering many
types of music and culture.
Sharon is known and cherished by her friends and fans as a singer, photographer, painter,
capoeirista, social worker, buddhist, a sister, surfer, traveler and daughter.
A jack off all trades as she recalls it, but her love for music started with her dad.
My father Kees was in a band called the Leads for some time, back then i listened to many types of
music but mostly bands from 1950 till 1970.
I started singing at a young age and did some projects for a local producer in town.
While travelling i tought myself how to play guitar and sing, that`s were it all came together.
Singing and playing on the beach around the campfire, just for fun.
But then one day i heard about Erick Nova, and that he was looking for backing vocals for his
upcoming CD.
My toughts were i`ll give it a go, and Erick was enthousiastic about my vocal talent that we
recorded some songs.
Music inspires me endlessly, it`s a message that brings people together.........
