Biografie van Laurent Korcia

Taken under the wing of Pierre Barbizet from an early age, Laurent Korcia studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris with Michèle Auclair, herself a pupil of Jacques Thibaud and George Enesco. After being awarded a Premier Prix by the Conservatoire, he continued his studies with Felix Andrievsky at the Royal College of Music in London, where he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth Prize 'for the most outstanding contribution to the College'.
