Biografie van Johan Luttik
Johan Luttik plays the guitar since he was ten years old. After many musical journeys and adventures he found himself in India for two years and got inspired by the music tradition there. There he developped his own tuningsystem and tone-rows.
Over the last five years he got interested again in the 'normal' way of tuning and western traditional scales. Because of that his way of playing became more harmonious and maybe alsoo easier to attend.
'Mystic Strings' his debut has been recorded life in one session.
Producer rakenDra Smit placed a microphone and said: 'Stop thinking and do God's work', then he pushed the recordingbutton and guitarplayer Johan Luttik took off.
There were three people in the studio when it happened. They got enchanted by the guitaritst's movements and excotic tone-rows.
After thirty minutes of magic soundscaping the last note faded away... and there was silence. Everyone felt they had witnessed something Divine..
This Cd contains nine improvised solo pieces on nylonstring acoustic guitar, recorded in that mystic session.
