Biografie van Cape Canaveral
They rock, they groove, they scream like every good rockband should". That’s how a critic describes Cape Canaveral’s music and act. With solid rock and subtle ballads, Cape Canaveral mixes musical styles and emotions as they perform on stage. The Breda, the Netherlands based band kicked off in the summer of 2000 as a trio.
As a quartet, the band recorded two demo-albums, which recieved positive attention in the national press. They rock, they groove, they scream like every good rockband should". That’s how a critic describes Cape Canaveral’s music and act. With solid rock and subtle ballads, Cape Canaveral mixes musical styles and emotions as they perform on stage.

As a quartet, the band recorded two demo-albums, which recieved positive attention in the national press.
In May 2002, Cape Canaveral won the prestigious "Wraak van Brabant". This victory led to the
interest of Wammes Records, a young and independent record label teamed up with Willem
Van Kooten´s Red Bullet.
The band retreated for 3 weeks in the AudioWorkx studios to record the debut album "When
you´re least expected". The album is produced by Werner Pensaert (producer/engineer for K´s
Choice, Zita Swoon, Nuff Said, Venus In Flames).
With their debut album "When you’re least expected" the band has put themselves on the map of the international pop and rock scene.

Cape Canaveral is/was Graham, Alex, Chris and Pete. Over the years we have come to realise that one of the hardest things about being in a band is trying to describe yourselves to others. How do you get what you want to say across without sounding boastful or arrogant, littered with lame analogies in an attempt to sound quirky or arty? All in all we're about making the music we want to hear without worrying too much what we look like. We don't have off kilter haircuts, we don't wear make up or clothes that don't really fit us. We're like the 90s never went away. Old but reliable.
