Released in 1990, some consider The Age of Love to be the first true trance single. Produced by Bruno Sanchioni and Giuseppe Cherchia, with vocals by Karen Mulder, The Age of Love was originally released by the Belgian label Diki Records. In 1992, the React label released Jam & Spoon's Watch Out for Stella remix, which gained more popularity than the original track and opened up opportunities for remixes by artists such as Paul van Dyk and Brainbug.
