The A Cumpagnia group set up in 1978 as the continuation of the E Voce di u Cumune association and is involved in research activities . At the heart of its creation the voice and polyphony are able to revive the life and times of the Corsican traditions with a variety equal to that of its "pieve" and of the different influences they received and incorporated.The A Cumpagnia group [is a Corsican a capella choir,] set up in 1978 as the continuation of the E Voce di u Cumune association and is involved in research activities [focussed on traditional Corsican music]. At the heart of its creation the voice and polyphony are able to revive the life and times of the Corsican traditions with a variety equal to that of its "pieve" [former microregions] and of the different influences they received and incorporated.
